Sylox Docs

Overview

What Sylox is, and what this documentation covers.

What Sylox is

Sylox tracks risk on Stellar/Soroban issued assets and lets people buy and provide cover against specific failure events on those assets, such as a depeg, an issuer freeze, or a mint without backing.

A risk oracle scores each tracked asset from live, keeper-reported signals: price data, liquidity depth, supply changes, and issuer actions like clawbacks or authorization revocations. An event registry turns a sustained bad signal into a proposed event, which can be challenged before it becomes final.

Testnet only

Everything documented here runs on Stellar testnet. Contract addresses, sample assets, and signal data are all testnet values. Data shown by the app and referenced in these docs is sample data until the live data service ships, so never treat a number here as a real price or balance.

Cover pays out only when an event defined in the registry is declared final, and only up to the amounts the contracts hold.
